Mr. Ekram has started his career in ecommerce team of Best Buy – a fortune 100 company and the largest electronics appliance retailer of the world. He has participated in different initiatives and has played multiple roles at that organization, including software engineer, information system auditor and quality analyst. He was subsequently program manager of Grameen Software, Head of PMO and QA at Warid telecommunications and Chief Information officer of Viyellatex and APS group. He has also taught at North South University. His most recent role was of a project management consultant of HealthPartners, a Minneapolis; USA based large heath Care Company. He has extensive work experience both in USA and Bangladesh.
Mr. Ekram has completed his Bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud state university (USA), M.S. from University of Minnesota (USA), EMBA from IBA Dhaka and graduate certificate from Metropolitan State University (USA). His is PMI certified Project Management Professional as well as Agile Certified Practitioner. He is also American Society for Quality certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Information System Audit and Control Association certified Information System Auditor. In addition, he has foundation certificate of Information Technology Infrastructure Library.
His professional area of interest include Strategy formulation (Balanced scorecard), agile methodology, process optimization and automation, and IT assurance.
